the masks of Venice.
The word mask came via French masque and either Italian maschera or Spanish máscara. Possible ancestors are Latin (not classical) mascus, masca = "ghost", and Arabic maskharah = "jester", "man in masquerade".
Why do we have to hide ourselves and try to be others? It is maybe because of of the fact that we are always dreaming of a more handsome, more beautiful, a more perfect version of ourselves. Why can't we sastify with what we've already had? The answer may belongs to the basic instinct of human beings which concerns lots of complicated philosophical theories that are very difficult to understand.
Anyway, Welcome to VENICE, the most beautiful and romantic place on Earth ever.
